Form:

Marya plays the bass and sings. She also writes the lyrics.

From 2004 to 2009, Brian played the drums and sang sometimes, and recorded all of the songs.
He did a great job, and can now be found here and here.

Function:

Marya encourages everyone to play music, and to think both directly and obliquely about the world.

As the recordings evidence, Brian is a metronome with soul.

 

Analysis:

Unled Tit hopes to achieve simple but striking relationships of (and through) form and function, avoiding colorful supplementary effects at most costs. Unled Tit hopes that their music will inspire both physical and mental movement in listeners, and in turn inspire them to inspire listeners of their own. Unled Tit particularly likes pop, hip-hop, and punk, and wants to find more common ground between the three.

Presently Unled Tit is most interested in the expository personal narrative song, like those typically found in musicals, and the performance of identity, particularly false ones. Unled Tit is also interested in entrapment, disembodiment, and categorizations and power in general.

Increasingly, Unled Tit reflects upon the distance between 1 and 1000, and the concept of empathetic critique.
